The rear caliper mount on the Delfast frame is under strength. With the stock brakes, and even more with the Magura brakes, the caliper flexes when the brake is applied. This makes the rear brake squishy and weak. Several riders with Magura brakes have even had the caliper mounting bracket bend out of shape due to torque from the caliper. We corrected this issue with our reinforcement bracket.
NOTE - Before you buy this reinforcement ensure there is at least a 6mm gap between the bottom of the caliper mount and the top of the chain stay, or this reinforcement will not fit (the adapter wraps the mount with aluminum on the top, front, and bottom to stiffen it).
